Hi, my name is Jen. Myself and my two brothers, Brian & Daniel (Daniel is the baby at 17 years old), are raising money for our dad, Pat White, who is entering end of life care after a diagnoses of Bile Duct cancer in April. We thought we had more time and there was a possibility of treatment but there have been a lot of complications due to some underlying birth defects that make treatment impossible. So, I’m not good at putting things out there and I’m usually too stubborn to ask but I’m here to ask for help as my brothers and I don’t have the financial abilities to pay for all of this.

Dad was living in Arkansas and started this process there. He is renting a duplex there but he was transferred here to KC on 6/12/25 for further testing/treatment and is currently receiving great care here and will come home with me on hospice as early as next week. All of his belongings are still in Arkansas and things are progressing so quickly that we haven’t had the time or resources to get his things moved. There is no retirement/life insurance for him and he lives on Social Security, so we are raising funds to help pay his medical/personal bills, get his belongings from Arkansas to KC, so that we can end his lease down there, and to pay for his final expenses. The most important thing right now is time with Dad because we don’t have much left.

To our friends and loved ones that are finding out from this fundraiser, I’m sorry. There’s been a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time.
