For a few weeks, Pat was having some issues with what he thought was acid reflux. After dealing with the pain and being sick, he went to the ER. While there, he was telling the ER doctor his symptoms, and they decided to do an MRI. When the doctor came in with the results, he was told he had several masses in his stomach area, lungs, and lymph nodes. They referred him to a specialist. What once was melanoma had turned into stage five metastatic liver disease. He was informed he has two large masses in his chest plus multiple small ones and four or more large ones with additional smaller ones in his liver.

Two weeks ago, he was told he was jaundiced and was in the hospital for a few days. The doctors took him to surgery to place a stent in so his liver could function properly. During the procedure, the doctors noticed it was worse than they thought. He has to go for immunotherapy and chemotherapy to see if the masses can be shrunk so they can retry putting the stent back in. He has not been able to work for some time now. His place of employment has short-term disability; just don't know when that will kick in. Every time he has a treatment, appointment, or visit, it's $100 or more. Pat is one that does not ask for help or say he needs anything. So, the Sin City family is asking for donations to go towards Pat's medical bills and any other financial needs he has.
