Hello Everyone,

As most of you know I have been a peace and environmental activist for the past fifty plus years, ever since my return from Vietnam in 1969. My professional career has been in recycling for over forty years.

I am also a singer songwriter. My first album, “Songs for Future Generations” was on Rounder Records, co-sponsored by Greenpeace, and released in 1984. I have five additional CDs. All my music is completely free, my contribution for a more peaceful and environmentally friendly world.

Climate Change is real, and is a huge worldwide threat. Efforts to combat this crisis are falling far short. Our beautiful earth is calling us all to action. I thought, “What can I do to help? One thing I can do is write songs!” I have written a new song on Climate, “You

are OUR Sunshine: A Climate Anthem.” It is an upbeat call to action. People might think, “What difference can a song make?” I have faith that this song will find many places to motivate and inspire. That’s what music does. Pete Seeger, my mentor, used to say, “A good song reminds us of what we are fighting for.” I believe this song fits that definition.

I have recorded the song with some very talented musicians and singers. There are twenty-two people singing on the chorus, which includes members of Greater Boston Physicians for Social Responsibility, 350MA, Sierra Club and Climate Justice at North Parish UU Church in North Andover, MA, plus other individuals concerned about Climate Change.

I recently met with a professor and two professional film makers in Emerson College’s Film and Media Arts graduate program. They will be making a music video of our song. I am very excited. We estimate the cost of making the music video at about $15,000. We are inviting you to be part of this project by making a donation to my “Go Fund Me” appeal. Any donation will be appreciated. If an individual or organization is able to

donate $5,000, they will be listed as co-producers. All other donations will be listed as

Sponsor ($500 -$1,000), Partner ($100 - $500), or Friend ($25 - $100). All donors are sincerely appreciated and will be listed in the credits.

This project is a donation to help spark the movement. It is given away freely and unreservedly. Once competed we plan on distributing the music video far and wide.

With climate deniers about to take power in this country, we all need to push back. Let’s do this with our belief in science, love of this earth, and a song on our lips. Please help make this music video a reality.
