Help Support Pat & Joann Through Hospice and Transition

Today, my family faces one of the hardest chapters of our lives. My father, Pat, is entering hospice care, and my mother, Joann—his wife of 55 years—is preparing for life without him by her side. Together, they’ve built a life of love, service, and community.

Over the years, Pat and Joann have given selflessly through their work with civic organizations like the American Legion and their deep involvement in Bethesda United Methodist Church. They’ve always been the first to offer help to others, and now they need our support.

This fundraiser will help cover the costs of Dad’s hospice care and provide Mom with some financial relief during this difficult transition. She will soon need to move as they await the sale of their home, and this added support will allow her to focus on what matters most—being by Dad’s side.
