Support Pat Hardy's Journey through Sobriety
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Brandon Buckingham. I met a man named Pat Hardy on the streets of Kensington in May of 2023 in one of his lowest moments in life. He was using substances, homeless, separated from his children, and on a path that only leads to destruction. Not long after I met him that day, he found it within himself to turn his life around and has been completely sober for over a year. In that time, he has held down a 9 to 5 job and also reunited with his children. Everyone has always told me you can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves, and Pat has proven for over a year that he is helping himself and wants to be better. So I truly feel he deserves a helping hand, that is why I created this GoFundMe to help him out with some basic necessities in life like rent and a vehicle. I personally will be donating $1,200 to the GoFundMe as well as buying him a MacBook computer. If anyone would like to contribute to the GoFundMe, it is very appreciated but not expected. I hope at the very least his story can inspire any of you out there who are struggling in life that there is hope, things can get better, and people do care about you despite how hard it is to see at times. I love you all and God bless Pat, I couldn't be more proud of him!

Pat's message to anyone able to lend him a helping hand
Hi my Name is Patrick. I have been sober for 13 months and I live in a sober living home. I work full time just to afford the cost of rent. I barely have enough money to support my children let alone myself due to my situation. I am making this to get my family under one roof and start living together. I would appreciate any help that you have to offer. Reuniting with my Family would mean the world to me. All I need is a little help to get started. Thank you for being here for us.
