Support Pat Cannata's Fight Against Cancer

Dear Family and Friends,

Our Mom, Pat Cannata, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer (October 2023) that has metastasized to her liver. This cancer is not curable and will eventually take her life. As you all know, our mom never gives up. She is tough and will always keep fighting. Mom has beat a terminal illness almost 7 years ago (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) with a double lung transplant in 2017. She is fighting hard to kick cancer in the A$$. Unfortunately, Chemo has knocked her down and has given her several serious health problems that have put her in the hospital several

times since April. She has tried a few different chemotherapy’s and targeted treatment but they have not worked. She is now going to start radiation to try and shrink the tumor in the colon and keep it at bay. This has put a strain on every aspect of our lives. We have tried to stay positive in keeping life as normal as possible, but it has come to the point where we need to reach out for more help than we have already received.

We are setting up a Go Fund Me account to help defray some of the rising medical cost that are not covered under her insurance. The monies will also help with the weekly toll and gas expenses that have incurred taking Mom to the city for weekly hospital and Dr. appointments. Any additional monies will be used for food expenses and outside resources she may need moving forward. Any donation that you make would be much appreciated. If a donation cannot be made at this time, we ask that you just keep Mom and us in your daily prayers as we navigate through these trying times.
