I'm a son, brother, father, friend, and pastor. My passion my entire life has always been to help others in whatever capacity I was available to do so. God gave me a heart for His people. So pastoring and ministry is my profession and I was very hesitant in doing this because I always have been the giver, the helper but sometimes roles are reversed and everyone needs someone at some point and this just is my time. I was diagnosed about 4 years ago with congestive heart failure. I had the ability until mid April 2025 to live life just about as I always had and then life begin to drastically change. The last four months I have been in the hospital fighting for my life. I'm currently being sustained on IV meds which is allowing my heart to continue to pump.

I am receiving an LVad in December to give me back a quality of life. The LVad within itself will be an adjustment, that I am grateful in advance to have the opportunity of receiving. It will take me approximately 5-6 months of recovery.

After open heart surgery and recovery, life will be new and I'm asking for prayers and help during this time of difficulty and life changes. After not having the ability to fully work in over a year and Even with medical insurance, the weight of bills, copays, and survival is becoming overwhelming.
