My Name is Howard (Ronnie) Hayward, I am starting this GoFundMe for Pastor J.D.Leake and His Family! They have suffered Heart Breaking Set Backs with their 17 year old Daughter Hannah having a life threatening Disease and Pastor Leake having had to have part of his right foot Amputated, They are in a struggle of their Lives he can no longer work to provide for his family, they are about to loose their rental home and medical bills keep piling up as their daughter Hannah has to constantly go to hospitals and Doctor Appointments and to specialists they also need a newer vehicle as theirs is on its last leg. Please find it in your hearts to help this family out they live in Texas this is a Beautiful Family with everyones help we can make their lives a little more easier!

From The Leake family- As most of you already know, our almost 18 year old daughter Hannah has literally been in the fight for her life for the past nearly 5 years. After almost two years of medical bullying and gaslighting we took her to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. We found out there, that she was suffering from MALS and 6 months later she had a serious cardiovascular surgery in Houston in Feb 2023 to fix that. Unfortunately her health was just ignored and neglected by the medical field for so long that her body was already in a terrible condition. Her heart rate, her BP, her oxygen, her digestion, her urinary tract, etc. were all affected. She has multiple chronic health conditions. From Dysautonomia, POTS, EDS, NCS, etc. The daily symptoms she lives with because of these conditions are absolutely debilitating! She lives in pain! For everyone that deals with chronic illnesses, I am sure you understand. In April of 2025 her father’s health went downhill too after an infected wound on his foot would not heal. He suffered from osteomyelitis for 7 months. Using a pic line everyday, paying for home health every week. And paying thousands of dollars to the pharmacy for the pic line antibiotics. Insurance would not cover either one and they have never reimbursed us for it. In October he had a partial amputation of his right foot. Now (Dec 2025) the infection has returned and he has a fractured bone as well. He Pastors a very small church and currently has no income because of this situation and needing to be of his feet As you can imagine the financial burden of all of these things is very pressing! Several folks have spoken to our family about starting a GoFundMe page for Hannah and our family due to all of the constant financial and medical challenges that have accompanied this journey. There have been so many generous donations throughout these past 5 years, and for every penny of it we are humbled and grateful. These funds have been used to survive what has been the most difficult financial storm of our lives. These medical needs for Hannah and the medical needs that have arose in the past year for her father’s health needs add up so fast. They only have one family vehicle that is literally on its last leg. In and out of the shop all the time. They have spent over $10,000 on repairs to keep it going. The use that vehicle to drive to appointments in Dallas, Houston and at times the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. These often repeated, sometimes unexpected and often sudden trips have made it even more difficult, because there has often been such “bullying” by the medical community, that both of Hannah’s parents have had to be present during the visits in order to advocate for Hannah. The medical system is very corrupt and broken in so many ways, which has been the biggest hinderance to securing the proper care/treatment that could actually help save Hannah’s life. Many times, along this journey, because we didn’t accept the advice and diagnosis of the “Medical Professionals” we had to seek help/visits/treatments elsewhere (out of any system approved by her insurance) which created even more pressing financial hardships because of out of pocket costs. These funds will be used to help offset many of the daily living expenses at times (such as rent, fuel, groceries, medical trips, medical supplies and medical visits/hospital visit that are not covered by Hannah’s insurance).
