L Help Support Pastor DadPoppy Battle Cancer

Hi, my name is Naomi. Some of you may already know, but for those who don’t — about three weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer. Since then, he’s been in and out of the hospital. He also needs triple bypass surgery, but right now his body is too weak to undergo it. His doctors are focused on fighting the infection and the heart so they can attack the cancer full force!

Recently, he developed a severe infection in his gawbladder that nearly took his life, the doctors are focoused on that first and he now has a drain bag as part of his recovery. It’s been a really tough time for our family.

I’m reaching out for support because my dad was the primary provider for his household. Just before his diagnosis, he finalized the full custody of my little brother and sister, ages 5 and 7. Who were in the middle of full adoption We’ve had them since they were very young, and he first took them in as foster children.

My dad is a pastor, a grandfather (lovingly known as “Poppy”), a husband, a friend, and so much more. He will be out of work for at least three to six months, and our family is in need of help to get through this time.
