Support Pasquale's Recovery Journey

Update- Feb 16, 2025

I wanted to update everyone…Pasquale has had a rough few weeks since his stroke a few days ago he took a turn for the worse and went back into the hospital on Feb 13th. He was transferred to Tufts in Boston. He has had another heart attack and his heart is struggling and no longer functioning. He is now in ICU on a ventilator and heavily sedated to keep him calm and relaxed. He is having alot of blood pressure issues that they have put in a swan and A-line to help manage the blood pressure better. He needs heart valve replacement and stents put in for the 3 blockages he has. He isn’t stable enough at the moment but they are doing more tests and hope to be able to do heart surgery this week. There is a lot more going on but it’s hard  to explain everything. The doctors don’t know if he will pull through this but we are doing everything we can to give him a fighting chance. Please pray he is strong enough for heart surgery and recovery . We appreciate your love and support. Thank you to those that have donated. We can’t thank you enough. If you are still able to donate to help support his medical bills, regular bills and day to day expenses…it is very much appreciated. He will be in the hospital for awhile and hopefully will come home but he won’t be able to work. I will keep updating here with any changes. Thank you!

Jan. 8, 2025-

Pasquale aka Papa had a stroke He is at Tufts Medical Center in ICU. He is stable. He is gaining his speech back and able to move and feel his left side which was affected by the stroke. The doctor is very optimistic he will recover with rest, medication and physical and occupational therapy. He has a long road ahead but we hopeful he will be ok and be laughing with that big smile and loving heart soon. We are asking for your any help you can give to help with medical bills, living expenses during this difficult time. We are not sure when or if he will be able to return work at Mother Anna’s (which he loves so much) His focus needs to be on healing. He said who will make my famous Tiramisu. Lol!! We thank you for all your texts, calls, support and love.

01/15/25 UPDATE-

Hi everyone, I wanted to give you all an update on how Pasquale is doing. He is doing really well considering everything he went through. He is home and recovering. The doctors are very pleased with his progress so far. He still has some memory issues, trouble holding things like silverware and his legs are really weak so he gets tired easily and can’t walk far. Physical therapy will help with alot of those things. He has a bunch of doctors appts coming up, physical therapy and Dialysis. He will need to have a heart valve replacement but we want to make sure he strong and stable for any surgery and he needs. What’s most important is that he is here with us, recovering and will take it one day at a time. We want to thank you everyone for the generous donations, love and support. He loves getting your txts, calls and visits. It means the world to him and all of us. We thank you for continuing support and sharing the Gofund me so he doesn’t have to worry about anything and can focus on his recovery while he is out of work. We love you all and thank you again!
