Gracias.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Pascual Tapia. He touched many people with his charisma and the way that he always wanted to keep his family together. He will be missed by all of his loved family, especially by all of his six daughters who he has left behind. He was born in Mexico and was a very hard worker. He made sure to provide everything for all of his daughters. He loved to spend time with all of his family and loved preaching about God to all of us. He always asked if we believed in God and that with God everything is possible.
On December 23, 2024, he suffered a cardiac arrest which caused his heart to stop for more than 10 minutes, leading to severe brain damage. He fought a hard battle for 20 days. He had the breathing tube that assisted him for 15 days and gave it his all to continue to breathe for 5 days all on his own. He fought hard and we were all there every step of the way, never leaving him alone. His family, who witnessed his suffering, were always there. He fought many days until his body slowly gave up on him. On January 13, 2025, he passed away surrounded by all his beloved family at 5:05 am at Elmhurst Hospital. He will always be remembered as a fighter who always did what he thought was best for his family.
For those who want to help contribute to his last wish, which was to be transported to Mexico to be buried next to his family, can do so through here. All of the contributions will help with the offset funeral costs, medical expenses, and transportation.
We thank you for all of your support and condolences. Please feel free to share this with anyone looking for ways to give. Thank you.
