Hello everyone. I am Parker’s momma. Parker is our beautiful boxer baby. He is a year old and is the most loving baby ever. He is also a certified therapy dog and goes with me to my practice. Parker has an autoimmune disease called SRMA. It has been managed well by medication, but in early August, Parker started getting sick. He had picked up a bacteria called giardia, which for normal dogs would be no big deal to recover from. However, Parker is immune-compromised. He has been in and out of vet offices and Auburn University Hospital since August 5. Last Friday, he had another bad spell, so we drove him back to Auburn University ER. He was put in the Internal Medicine unit and has been under 24/7 care since. He has had ultrasounds, catheters, blood transfusions, so many antibiotics, so many blood tests; the list is endless. He is our family, and we are doing everything in our power to save him and bring him home. He is a fighter, but he needs prayers. Please flood heaven's gates with prayers for him. That is the most important thing anyone can do for him.

Anyone who has a furbaby knows how expensive emergency care is. I will 100 percent do whatever I have to do for Parker. His healing is all that matters to me. Money can be replaced. He cannot.
