Our family is raising this fundraiser for Parker's family as they face an unimaginable journey. During a football game, Parker suffered a serious spinal cord injury after colliding with another player. He immediately lost movement and sensation throughout his body and was rushed to the hospital. Since then, Parker has shown encouraging signs of progress, including feeling sensations in his arms, hands, feet, and legs, and beginning to move parts of his body again. Doctors also discovered that Parker was born with a congenitally narrow spinal canal, which contributed to the injury. While there is hope in the progress Parker has made, there are still many unknowns, and the road ahead may include a long period of hospitalization, rehabilitation, and recovery.
Right now, Parker’s family wants to focus all their energy on being by Parker’s side and supporting him through every step ahead. Donations will help ease the burden of medical and rehabilitation expenses, travel, time away from work, and the many unexpected costs that come with a crisis like this. If you are able, please consider donating to support Parker's family during this difficult time. If donating is not possible, prayers for healing, strength, peace, and continued progress would mean so much. Thank you for lifting up Parker's family with your generosity, prayers, and love. Every act of support means more than words can say.
