Support Parker Swaar's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Brian Durbin, Julie Mize, and Tina Schwarz have started this GoFundMe to help raise funds for Parker Swaar and his family. On Saturday, May 3rd, during a home track meet, Parker was accidentally hit in the head by a shot put that was being thrown by a competing school district. The accident caused a brain bleed, damage to his skull, and numerous other health-related issues. The family has health insurance, but it's a limited policy. Parker is set to have surgery on Monday, May 5th. However, he has a long path to recovery ahead. Dad, mom, and sister don't need to worry about how to pay for the medical bills, missed wages, and travel expenses. So, we're asking our local community and anyone interested to participate in this GoFundMe. All funds raised will go to the Swaar family to help with the mentioned expenses. A savings account will be opened up at Alliance Bank in Mason City next week. We will update this post once that account is open for those interested in giving directly to the bank. Thanks again for your support. Even if you can't give financially, please lift the family up in prayer. They need every prayer possible.
