On November 11, 2024, our son, Parker Dean Couch, entered the world at just 28 weeks. Weighing a tiny 2.6 lbs, he made his early arrival at Washington Regional, ready to take on the world with an incredible fighting spirit. These first 48 hours have been a whirlwind of emotions—filled with hope, worry, gratitude, and love.

Parker’s journey in the NICU will likely be a long one, and while he’s proving to be a resilient little fighter, we know the road ahead will bring many unknowns, medical expenses and financial challenges. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help to cover the rising costs of his specialized medical care and the daily expenses as we navigate this chapter.

We are deeply grateful for the love and support we’ve already received. The Ronald McDonald Charity House has given us a comforting place to stay nearby, a sanctuary during this challenging time. However, as we focus on being present for Parker, we are also facing medical bills and ongoing costs that we can’t manage alone.
