Hi all, my name is Emily, and I am local to Park Slope. I have been connecting families who need help due to the government shutdown with generous neighbors. This fund is specifically for the families who do not feel comfortable sharing their contact information in the current political environment. Any funds raised will be distributed to the families by Sylvia Rodriguez, a trusted and well-known community organizer, for groceries, formula, diapers, etc. Sylvia has a direct connection to each family, all of whom are single mothers.
