WE LOVE PARIS - this is an athlete who has given over 5 years to our program. She has been such an integral part of the growing success that the women have experienced since she began.
As a freshman, she stroked the varsity 8+ to the first key wins that helped build the positive momentum that we continue to see today. She has been a humble leader throughout the course of her career, always focusing on team rather than self, and we could not be more proud of everything that she has accomplished.
Paris is one of a select group of the fastest rowers across the country to be invited to compete this summer for the opportunity to represent USA at the 2021 Junior World Championships, located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. We can't think of anyone more deserving of this opportunity, and we are excited to support her in this next step of her promising rowing career.
As a rowing family, we want to help Paris experience this opportunity with the same focus and determination that she has shown every day with SA. Helping to lessen the cost of Selection Camp is our way of showing her our support and thanking her for her dedication to the team. Your support will help cover the cost of Phase 1 of camp.
The example that Paris has set for past, present, and future rowers will stay with SA long past her final race in black and yellow.
