Support Paris-A Dean's List Student & Future Attorney

Hi, my name is Iris and I’m starting this GoFundMe for someone very special to me. Paris is one of my former 5th grade students.

Paris was a firecracker in the best way. Smart, outspoken, and full of promise. Even as a child, she stood out as a leader. Today, she’s a Junior at Texas Southern University, working toward her dream of becoming an attorney. She’s made the Dean’s List and is doing all she can to stay afloat, including working part-time while balancing a full course load.

But right now, Paris' rent is struggling to cover basic living expenses and school costs. Like many college students, she’s doing her best to juggle it all, but the financial pressure has become too heavy to carry alone.

We’re hoping to raise $2,400 to help her catch up on rent and avoid eviction. Funds will also cover essentials like groceries, utilities, and transportation, and support her with academic expenses so she can continue her studies uninterrupted.

Paris aspires to be an attorney, and as her former teacher, now an attorney myself, I couldn’t be more proud. I see so much of myself in Paris. She’s determined, capable, and full of potential. I truly believe this is just a temporary setback in what will be a powerful story of resilience and success.
