In Loving Memory of Lynette Maejean Turner Castaneda
February 23, 1979 – May 16, 2025
Hi, my name is Paris. I’m 20 years old, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help after losing my beautiful mom, Lynette Maejean Turner Castaneda, to cancer.
She passed away on May 16th, 2025 — heartbreakingly, on the same day her husband (my stepdad) passed away four years ago. She was only 46 years old.
My mom was diagnosed with cancer just over a year ago. Since then, I’ve been her full-time caregiver, doing everything I could to support her through this fight. Watching someone you love suffer like that is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. She stayed strong for so long — for me — and I’m so proud of her.
Now that she’s gone, I feel completely lost. She was my whole world. And while I’m trying to stay strong, I’ve been left with the overwhelming responsibility of handling her funeral expenses and medical bills on my own. I just don’t have the means to do it by myself.
If you’re able to donate anything — no matter how small — it would mean so much to me. And if you can’t give, sharing this page would help more than you know.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for keeping my mom in your thoughts. She was kind, funny, and full of love — and she deserved so much more time.
With love and gratitude,
Paris
