On September 17, 2025 our beloved friend and brother, Rajarshi Sadhya, unexpectedly died after complications at the fear of losing his job. Rajarshi was a devoted husband to Paramita and a loving father to their 6-year-old son. He was the family’s sole earner and held an H-1B visa.

This family now faces an impossible situation: beyond the grief and shock, they have immediate costs that they cannot cover on their own — funeral arrangements, outstanding mortgage and debt on their home (which will need to be sold), urgent travel and relocation to India, legal and wrap-up costs, and basic living expenses while they rebuild their lives.

We have created this fund to support Paramita and her son during this devastating transition so they can focus on grieving and healing rather than immediate financial survival.

Rajarshi was a caring husband and father, known to friends and family for his kindness and willingness to help others. He was known to all of us as being extremely sensitive and one who put his heart and soul into anything he did. He lived to provide for his family and to give his son a bright future. Losing him has left a hole no amount of money can fill — but your financial support will give Paramita and their son the stability they urgently need.
