Support Papi's Mission to Save Stray Animals

My dad (Papi) has always said, “Helping animals is my key into heaven.” And honestly, I believe in a past life, he must’ve been a veterinarian.

In Puerto Rico, the stray cat and dog populations are heartbreaking. Animals are constantly searching for water, food, and a safe place to rest. That’s why Papi has dedicated his life to helping them, using his own money to feed, neuter, and care for every animal he can. Whether they show up at our door wounded or hungry, he never turns them away.

Every day and night, Papi feeds our rescues inside the house and the strays who live outside. When an animal needs antibiotics, surgery, or shelter, he makes it happen — even when it stretches him thin. At this point, the vet by our house is fully funded by him and the animals he’s saved.

Recently, a neighbor who used to help feed the strays passed away. Now, Papi has even more mouths to feed. As his daughter, I want to give him the support he’s never asked for. This fundraiser will help cover vet visits, daily food, and materials to build better outdoor shelters, while also giving him the breathing room to take care of himself and his home.

Papi has always been there for these animals. I hope we can now be there for him. Every dollar helps, and every share makes a difference.
