Support Pape N'Diaye's Kidney Transplant Recovery

Friends, family and community of Pape N’Diaye, Pape is in need of our support. Our beloved teacher, mentor, and friend has been dealing with kidney disease and is in urgent need of a kidney transplant. While in Senegal running the Ndaje Festival, Pape got a call that they had found him a kidney and a transplant surgery was scheduled for mid February. This is great news, and also leaves him facing a lengthy recovery that requires 6-8 weeks of acute recovery time and the absence of stress for his body to heal.

Pape is a provider for his family and has people depending on him and bills to pay, and we want him to rest easy and fully recover from this major surgery. We are calling on Pape’s community and extended family for support so that he may have a peaceful and full recovery free from the worry of financial stress.

Even in this time between diagnosis and surgery, Pape has been teaching, working, organizing a conference, and being the active and engaged person we all know and love.

Let’s now give back to Pape who has given so much to his community, in his time of need, and show him the support and love he has shown all of us.
