Support Papa's Final Journey

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 20 at 10:30 am at the Old Neck Cemetery.

1/16/25 Our Papa has passed on to Heaven where he is singing every old Gospel song he knows with Jesus, his mom, dad, brothers and sisters who have passed before him. We will be working on arrangements today.

1/15/2025 He is known by many names- Husband, Dad, Frankie, Ray, Mr .Lowrimore, but his favorite name of all is Papa. Our Papa went in to the hospital after falling and hurting his hip. While at the hospital, the doctors found an emergency situation that required immediate surgery. This surgery resulted in a fungal infection in his blood that has not been able to be controlled by medicine. The doctors said that surgery is not a good option for Papa so the decision has been made to make him as comfortable as possible for the time that he has left with us. The doctors have not been able to give a time frame, it could be hours or days.

Papa worked hard his entire life and has done everything he can to make sure that his grandchildren have what they needed and now it is our turn. Papa is leaving behind Nana (Gennell) and Ashley who both depend on him for support- with no life insurance and living the regular American way, this is going to be a huge financial strain on them.

It is not very often my family has asked for help, but we are now. We have found out that the funeral is extremely higher than what we anticipated. If you have the ability to help Nana and us, we would appreciate any amount. If you are unable to help, we welcome all of the prayers that we can get.

Our main goal right now is to provide him with a funeral service. Any donations in surplus of the funeral costs will go to support Nana and Ashley for the next few months while they adjust to their new normal.
