Hello! I'm Paola, an Argentinian artist living in New Jersey. In October, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, just at a moment in my life when my husband and I are struggling financially. My main source of income was my Etsy shop where I was selling handmade clay jewelry since 2016 and doing great, but for the last 2 years, my sales went down by 70%, so my husband's job was our only source of income for these last years. This diagnosis hit us hard, and after all the tests and exams, I need dental work that must be done in order to start chemotherapy. This dental work alone is about $8000, which at the moment is impossible, and we already have accumulated thousands in medical bills so far, only in diagnostic tests. We have received help from family and friends along the way, and we are really thankful for that, but we are far away from what I need.

Continuing this treatment here in the USA became impossible, so we had to make the hard decision of continuing my journey in my home country, Argentina, where I have all my family and friends who will be supporting me and helping me in this rough time. But my husband will stay here, so we have to temporarily separate after 13 years together. So I thought of making this GoFundMe to ask for your help, and I will be forever grateful if you do collaborate with any amount you can. Everything adds up and is appreciated! The funds raised will be used for my journey battling cancer, this includes: dental work, medical bills, plane ticket to travel back to Argentina, and lawyer fees to be able to come back to my home here in the USA after a long period abroad due to treatment and healing, with no problem.
