The information below has been updated to reflect my current pending expenses.

As many of you know, for many years, it has been my dream and plan to attend law school. This year, God opened so many doors and paved a way for this dream to become a reality. I would like to announce that I have officially decided that I will be attending Loyola University in Chicago’s School of Law. I will be starting my first semester in the Fall of 2025.

I am beyond excited for this new journey, but I’m also feeling quite nervous about all the upcoming expenses that I will need to cover. Student loans will not be disbursed until the end of the first week of school, which means I will need help making payments for all the expenses that must be paid before school begins. This includes moving expenses, furniture, and rent for my new apartment.

I have estimated the following to be my remaining expenses:

rent expenses:

furniture I need to purchase because it would be cheaper than moving it:

I don’t have concrete number for the furniture above but I’m hoping spend around $1,000.00

As of 6/9/2025, I have raised an additional $3,000.00 sent via Zelle, so I have adjusted my goal accordingly. Also, with that money, I was able to purchase a new laptop!

All of this to say, I need help! Any amount you can give is greatly appreciated and will go directly to helping me set up my life for law school.
