My name is Frank (Pancho) Fuentes, and I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I am a national All-American and a 3 year wrestler.
I was introduced to wrestling my freshman year, where I sustained a season-ending injury before I could truly experience the sport. Once I recovered, I dedicated my summer to learning and competing, at which point I qualified for Nationals with only months of true experience. Following that, I quit my other sports, and I spent the next year solely training. Rep after rep, gaining as much technical knowledge as possible. I went on to make school history, being the first Master’s placer in over 10 years. Afterwards, I qualified for Nationals once more and returned home with All-American status. This year, I punched my ticket to the CIF State tournament, arguably one of the hardest state tournaments in the nation if not the hardest.
This being said, the costs of constant travel, tournament fees, and necessities pile up quickly. While we are doing the best we can, a little help goes a long way. Thank you for reading my story and considering a donation. With your help, I am one step closer to achieving my dreams.
