POHER is committed to strengthening the health sector across Africa, recognizing that it’s essential for the region’s social and economic development.

WHAT ARE YOU SUPPORTING? We are hosting annual medical research and mentorship research to promote research across Africa, partnerships, collaborations that improve overall healthcare. We provide opportunities for medical students from various African countries to submit and present their scientific research.

WHAT ARE WE PLANNING?

We plan to have a variety of speakers discussing their career paths, challenges, and current roles. In addition, our mentees and researchers from across the African continent will have an opportunity to present their research. Awards will be given to the best-submitted abstract in various categories and the best presentation at the symposium.

YOUR SUPPORT WILL:

1. Empower attendees with the knowledge to initiate and advance in research.

2. Strengthen the understanding of mentorship and its impact on career development, with a special focus on African countries.

Funds raised will support the hosting of a successful symposium and attendees.
