I am raising funds for Pams mounting medical expenses as a result from a "360 degree severed finger". She went through extensive injury to her hand (her baby finger was completely cut off, tendon, nerves and bone) with dislocation and tendon damage extending to include her ring finger. We are hoping the reattachment process will be successful but there is still the threat of amputation. Medical bills are rising in the attempt to safe her fingers which has included the initial Emergency Room visit, xrays, tetanus shots, antibiotics, stitches, morphine, pain meds, possibly Rabies Shots series, Hand Surgeon consultation, more xrays, follow up doctor & specialist appnts 2 hours from her home, vet costs and fees for an initial 10 day quarantine. Future surgery is planned to insert a pin in the bone and to do tendon & nerve repair. Physical therapy will follow afterwards for months to a year ... and of course, loss of wages for her time off.
