Hi everyone! I'm Melissa. For those of you who know me from high school, you know that Pam was my best friend throughout the years. After many years in difficult situations, we finally found our way back to each other and were married in 2023.

Unfortunately, 2025 has not been kind to us. In early February, I almost died from a Cerebral Spinal Fluid leak. In April, Pam's mother passed away after being neglected by the nursing home we were trusting with her care. Seven days later, there was a terrible car accident, and Pam was left with 6 herniated discs and 4 bulging discs in her back, along with 2 places of severe whiplash. All of these injuries are permanent. While going through testing, two cysts were found, which led to further testing. In October, Pam was dealt another blow when she was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer. We have been referred to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. This is an overnight trip for us every time she has to go. She will be out of work for 6-8 weeks after surgery. She does not qualify for FMLA or long-term disability.

If you decide to donate to us, we will use the money for gas and lodging in Jacksonville. It will also be used to help support us by paying rent and utilities while she is out of work.
