Hello everyone. I’m Nikki. My mom Pam was diagnosed with estrogen+/progesterone+/her2+ (triple positive) breast cancer on Jan 5th. She has undergone a lumpectomy on 1/29, as well as a port placed. She has gone through 6 out of 12 herceptin and taxol treatments.after these 12 rounds, she had 9 more months of herceptin, 6 weeks of radiation then a daily chemo pill.

during her treatment she has been unable to work her part time job she needs to make ends meet. The fatigue, bone pain, nausea has left her unable to even pick up a shift her not there. We have tried to get her as much assistance and deferments as possible but it’s still not enough.

my mom is the kindest, sweetest, most loving person I know. She has always been there for not only me but everyone. It kills me to see her go through this, but if I can take a little stress off her. I’m going to try.
