February 2024 started a whole different world for Pam as she was diagnosed with High grade stage 2 bladder cancer. Unfortunately, this type of cancer never goes away.

Sadly, it has taken a huge toll on her, making it hard for her to feel or live a normal life. With added stress and depression, she on most days can’t perform daily activities as she is either sick or in pain, which makes it hard for her to enjoy the things she loves doing, like working with kids, gardening, and spending time with her family.

If you know her, then you know she is a very private and prideful person who NEVER asks for a single thing. In these troubling times, she now knows she has to put her pride aside because SHE NEEDS HELP!!

The type of cancer she has requires many different treatments, including 6 weeks of immunotherapy every 3 months to try to keep it at bay ($29,000 yearly), cystoscopy every 3 months, CT scans every 6 months ($19,000 each), on top of already having 3 surgeries for tumor removal ($21,000 each).

She does have insurance, but it doesn’t cover all of the medical bills in full, leaving her stuck with the remaining balances. Because of treatments, surgeries, and just being sick, she misses work, and when she uses all her PTO, she doesn’t get paid on days she can’t be there.
