My beautiful friend Pammy needs your support. Pammy has been through more than most of us could imagine—yet she's always carried herself with a light, a spark for life that shines through even the darkest times. That spark is what makes her Pammy: resilient, radiant, and full of heart.

But recently, everything changed. She received a diagnosis that no one ever wants to hear. Over the past few months, as I’ve visited her in the hospital, I’ve seen something I never thought I would—the dimming of that spark.

Single Mom Battling Cancer – Please Help Keep Us Afloat

Hi, my name is Pammy, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit. In May 2025, I received a diagnosis that changed my life—I have Leukemia. As a single mother, the weight of this news has been overwhelming, especially knowing I am the only source of income and support for my home.

My health has already started affecting my ability to work consistently, and I’m now at risk of losing my job—and with it, my health insurance. Without treatment, my prognosis worsens. But without a job, I can’t afford the treatments or even keep a roof over our heads.

To add to the emotional weight, I am still grieving the loss of my own mother, who passed away in December 2024 after her own battle with cancer. I miss her deeply, and navigating my own diagnosis without her has been incredibly painful.

I’ve applied for state benefits and disability assistance, but those can take months, even up to a year, to be approved. In the meantime, I have no safety net. I’ve already reached out to 2-1-1 and other resources, but nothing has come through yet.

This is where I’m humbly asking for your help.
