I'm Tommy Phelps and I'm starting this for my mom, Pamela Phelps. Not many people know this because my mom didn't want to worry people, but she had surgery on 11-21-2024 to remove her right thyroid due to a nodule or tumor. That tumor was cancer called MI-FTC, aka Minimally Invasive Follicular Thyroid Carcinoma. From the path report, we believe they got it all because it said margins were clear, but we don't know what other treatments she may need, such as chemo or radiation. She has a post-op appointment tomorrow.

Five days after her surgery, she received a termination letter through email stating the reason as unforeseen circumstances as to why they fired her. Then, on 12-02-2024, she found out her insurance was canceled.

We know times are tough for everyone right now, but if you can help out, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't, that's okay, please just say a prayer for my mom and family.
