I met Pam and Tommy years ago at Abiding Church. Over time Pam has become one of my dearest friends and Tommy has become like a brother to me. I have had the privilege of walking alongside them and witnessing their faith, integrity and love for God firsthand.

In 2020, Pam and Tommy Ramey’s lives changed forever when Tommy was diagnosed with cancer at the base of his tongue. After much prayer, they were told that the available treatment could cost him both his tongue and his teeth. Without peace about that path, they felt led to pursue a holistic approach, trusting God’s direction. During that same season, their lifestyle coaching business collapsed due to Covid, and they experienced the loss of their beloved dog. It was an overwhelming time, yet God carried them with His peace and faithfulness.

Over the past year, Tommy’s condition has significantly worsened. He now struggles to move his jaw, and his tongue has become immobile and severely swollen, making it difficult for him to eat or speak. After continued prayer and seeking God’s guidance, Pam and Tommy believe the Lord is leading them into a new season of care. Tommy will soon receive a feeding tube to stop rapid weight loss and begin an aggressive seven-week course of radiation and chemotherapy. He has been unable to work for some time, and because both Pam and Tommy are self-employed, Pam’s work will be extremely limited as she cares for him and transports him to daily treatments.

This journey has brought many unexpected medical and living expenses. In this vulnerable season, it would be such a blessing to Pam and Tommy if you are able to support them on this journey.
