Support Pam (Patko) Menser in the medical fight of her life
Please help my lifelong friend Pam, currently fighting for her life in an ICU near Dayton, Ohio. Pam has contended with asthma all her life, and ended up with pneumonia just before Mother's Day. It's been the fight of her life ever since. She is in her eighth week in the hospital and still has a long road ahead. Every time she makes progress against one infection, another one sets in.
During the pneumonia treatment, Pam got a severe infection in the hospital that nearly took her life. Unbelievably, shortly thereafter her mother suddenly passed away. Pam was so ill she couldn't attend her mom's funeral.
Despite her shock and grief, she overcame the infection and pneumonia, only to develop a serious neck infection after a small procedure. She survived that as well, but the strong antibiotics have caused her kidneys to start failing, making her weak and disoriented. She has a significant amount of fluid in her lungs, so the doctors have intubated Pam to help her lungs work. She is currently in an induced coma on a ventilator, to reserve as much strength as possible.
Pam's friends and family have been heartbroken to see her endure so much, and the last thing we want is for her to worry about drastically mounting medical bills. She has a family and grandchild to live for, and friends who love her dearly. Any donation to help alleviate some of her enormous financial burden would be greatly appreciated. All funds will go directly to Pam's account. Bless you for your consideration.
