almost 3 years ago, I suffered some strokes overnight that continued to the next day at work. I did not fully understand what was going on; I just knew my vision was seriously impaired and I had a headache that was the worst pain ever. .

I worked with young special needs children at ROISD and knew I needed to get help and go to the ER. My daughter came to take me.

After many tests, it was revealed that I had a confirmed 8 strokes in my vision portion of the brain and another group of strokes with an unconfirmed number in another area of my brain that controls a few motor skills, balance, and memory. They could not confirm how many because of the area and swelling.

i spent several days in the hospital and they were just a daze to me.

i had a large stroke after returning home. Making my symptoms much worse.

I finally demanded a hearing because the SSA was failing me, big time. 

i now have a hearing with a judge in April and since my funds are gone, I’m scared of losing my home. And items that are needed to just survive.

i have serious vision loss, no longer can drive, i barely walk out the door of my house due to balance and motion sickness , daily, I experience bad headaches and countless other issues.

i just desperately need help to keep my home and bills paid until My hearing.

During the couple of years of needing help, I have lost all friends and even some family. I’m not sure why on some of them, but I have heard this is common and was warned when it started I would “find out who my friends are.”

I have a hearing scheduled for April and I’ve been told they should approve me then, I truly hope I can find some more people to help carry me to the finish line.

Any amount helps. I have medicine to pay for, utilities, and rent to cover along with some needed supplies.

i haven’t bought anything outside of necessity since this happened.
