Hi, my name is Max Lee, and I’m a 16-year-old high school student. I strive to help the struggling community of Los Angeles. I am passionate about helping underserved communities and started this campaign to support causes I care deeply about.
All proceeds will go to the Los Angeles Dream Center, a nonprofit dedicated to providing essential needs to those in need, such as food, shelter, education, and support for individuals and families.
My name is Angela Lee, the mother of Max Lee. Since Max is 16 years old, I will be managing the withdrawals on his behalf.
- Max Lee is the organizer and is a high school student running this campaign.
- We plan to donate all proceeds to the L.A. Dream Center Foundation in Los Angeles.
- I, Angela Lee, will be handling the withdrawals from GoFundMe and ensuring that the funds are delivered to the nonprofits.
Thank you for supporting this cause!
At just 16 years old, I've seen all the devastating damage the Pacific Palisades fire has done through social media, the news, and pictures and videos from my loved ones near the area. I cannot imagine the pain these families are in, as their homes are at risk of being reduced to ashes, the sacred memories they might hold, and the grief they may feel. Unfortunately, it's more than just physical destruction; it’s also the emotional weight of losing the luxury of safety and struggling to find hope for what comes next.
I’m launching this campaign in full support of the victims in need during this crisis caused by the Palisades fire. I’m asking that we all come together as humanity gathers its hands together to provide these families in loss the relief of not having to worry about the essential items they no longer have for this period of time. To help replenish the belongings lost by the victims of the Palisades Fire:
- Food: to nourish families who’ve lost everything.
- Clothing: to help families replace what they lost and keep them warm during this difficult time.
- Hygiene supplies: to ensure they can take care of themselves and still have a sense of humanity.
- Comfort items: to bring a small sense of peace and remind them that they are cared for and supported.
Now I know I’m asking for a lot, but in the toughest situations is where we come together; we can still find hope and learn to appreciate the little things. That’s why I’m so thankful for the smallest acts of kindness that life has provided me.
These families need that same kind of support now more than ever. Together, we can make a real difference. Every donation, every small action, sends a powerful message that shows them they are not alone, and that their community stands with them and will fight the fire with them. Let’s come together to provide a beacon of help, care, and hope for the ones in need!
Let’s rebuild houses, lives, and communities one step at a time. Let's be the foundation that turns ashes to hope.
FROM ASHES TO HOPE, TOGETHER WE REBUILD.
