Hi, my name is Max Lee, and I’m a 16-year-old high school student passionate about helping underserved communities in Los Angeles. I started this fundraiser to support causes I care deeply about.

All proceeds will go to the Los Angeles Dream Center, a nonprofit dedicated to providing food, shelter, education, and support to individuals and families in need.

At just the age of 16 years old, I've witnessed the ongoing devastating effects of the Palisades fire. Seeing Families all over the news that are experiencing unimaginable pain, homes reduced to ashes, cherished memories lost, and lives forever changed. I know this devastation all too well, as I experienced this firsthand. The fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak that fires like this bring are unbearable. The Palisades fire will forever left a mark on Los Angeles, not just the landscape but the ones who called it home. Unfortunately its more than just a physical destruction, it’s the emotional weight of losing the luxery of safety and struggling to find hope for what comes next.

That’s why I can’t sit back and do nothing. I’m launching this campaign to support the victims in need of this crisis that is being caused by the Palisades fire, to help the victims of the fire rebuild their lives. I’m asking for your help, together we can provide immediate relief to those in need. We're raising funds to provide and collect essential items to help replenish the belongings lost by the victims of the Palisades Fire:

- Food: to nourish families who’ve lost everything.

- Clothing: to help families replace what they lost and keep them warm during this difficult time.

- Hygiene supplies: to ensure they can take care of themselves and still have a sense of humanity.

- Comfort items: to bring a small sense of peace and remind them that they are cared for and supported.

Now I know I’m asking for a lot, but I’ve lived through this fear too—the fear of not knowing if my home, my family, or my memories would survive a fire. I’ve seen my loved ones lose everything they once owned and watched them struggle to rebuild their lives. Yet, even in the toughest situations, we can still find hope and learn to appreciate the little things. That’s why I’m so thankful for the smallest acts of kindness that life has provided me.

These families need that same kind of support now more than ever. Together, we can make a real difference. Every donation, every small action sends a powerful message that shows them they are not alone, and that their community stands and will fight the fire with them. Let’s come together to provide a beacon of help, care, and hope for the ones in need!
