My name is Fahoum Fahoum. I am a professional tennis coach from Haifa, now living in the United States. I serve as the Technical Director Abroad for the Palestine Tennis Federation (PTF), which is based in Ramallah, West Bank, Palestine.

Tennis has shaped my life in ways I can never forget. It taught me discipline, resilience, and focus. It gave me friendships that span decades and opportunities that changed my future. I believe every child should have the right to experience that same joy and possibility, no matter where they live.

From August 21 to 23, 2025, the PTF will host its most ambitious event yet. This will be a three-day gathering to train local tennis coaches and hold a junior championship for children ages 5 to 16. It will be the Federation’s biggest event to date, building on smaller one-day tournaments it has held in the past.

For many of these children, this will be their first time playing on a proper court, wearing a uniform, or competing in front of family and friends. For the coaches, it is a chance to gain skills and resources that will help them keep the sport alive in their communities year-round.

In the past, high equipment costs in Palestine, often double compared to the United States or Europe, meant the PTF could only rent what it needed for events. These funds will allow the Federation to own essential items so they can be reused for years to come, ensuring that each event builds on the last.

All donations will be collected in a dedicated account for this campaign and sent directly to the Palestine Tennis Federation’s designated financial officer in Ramallah before the event begins. The PTF will confirm when the funds are received, and we will share post-event updates and photos so you can see the impact you made.

This fundraiser is solely for sports development and youth programming. It is not connected to political or military activity in any way.
