Hello, my name is Jennifer Kruse and my daughter's name is Paizley Kruse. Paizley is a sweet and outgoing 9-year-old little girl. She loves doing crafts, riding her bike, hanging out with her friends, and doing things like lemonade stands.

She is the third of 6 kids in our family. She is loved!

September 12, 2025, was like any other night. Paizley and some of her friends and sisters were out playing, and I was cooking dinner. At 7:51, everything changed. One of her friends came into the house yelling, "Come quick, Paizley was hit by a car!" Paul and I ran out the back door and over the fence as fast as we could to see our daughter bloody, crying, and in shock. I immediately got her to lay down and stay still. I don't remember much other than complete chaos and people after that. Paizley was taken by ambulance to the E.R. We got there, and the staff went straight to work to find out everything they could! While at the E.R., we found out through several x-rays and CAT scans that Paizley has a broken arm, several facial and mouth lacerations, road rash all over, broke one tooth in half, and knocked out 2 more permanent teeth. They say we got lucky! I look at my daughter broken, scared, and in pain, and I know she is lucky, but right now she doesn't feel lucky! We have several procedures and appointments ahead of us! Paizley will need a permanent cast put on, she may need more stitches in her lip, and she is going to need extensive dental work done. Paizley is on a strict liquid diet right now, and we have had to get her some protein shakes and other things to supplement her diet for the time being.

We are just your average family. My husband works hard to support our family. Unfortunately, with the ambulance ride, all the tests and scans, all the appointments yet to come, and getting a lawyer for her, it is an expense that our family didn't see coming. We are reaching out for any help with these unexpected expenses. Prayers and kind thoughts for Paizley! And thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support!
