Support Paisley and her family

Dear friends,

We recently found out that our beautiful, spunky six year old Paisley has leukemia. She is undergoing treatment at Yale and we know it's going to be a long, difficult journey for her and her parents, Rob and Kate Bragaw and their 3 other children.

Rob and Kate are still digesting this horrible news and their focus is on getting Paisley the best care available, while helping Aubrey, Shay and little Bob maintain as normal a life as possible. Aubrey is 14, Shay is 11 and little Bob is just 3 years old.

Over the next several months, Paisley is going to be receiving chemotherapy and Rob and Kate, who is a nursing student, need to find a safe place for their family to live in order to keep their home as germ-free as possible.

They will need help with locating an apartment or rental home where they can keep visitors to a minimum, but one that is affordable during this uncertain financial time.

They are also going to need financial assistance because, while they want to continue to work as much as possible and be able to let Kate finish nursing school, Paisley's treatments and care will make this difficult.

The family has a strong emotional network  of family and friends, but the bills will continue to arrive every day and Paisley's treatment will be expensive.

It is difficult to imagine anything worse than your child being seriously ill. There is so much information to digest from the doctors, fear for your child's recovery, a sense of helplessness and the worry over how to keep your family from falling apart.

If you can help this wonderful young family with a small donation, they will be forever grateful. They want to bring their little girl home to her brother and sisters and help her recover from this terrible disease.
