update: a lot of people have been asking about insurance. Unfortunately, Paige is the one who spun out and got hit in the other lane. She has tried to talk to lawyers but no one will take her case because she is at fault despite bad road conditions. Insurance is covering the bare minimum but there is still a lot of finances Paige is left with.

Hi everyone, my name is Amy, and Paige is my best friend. I am here starting a GoFundMe because Paige was in a horrible car accident on November 20th. The roads were bad, and her tires slipped on ice. She spun into the other lane and was T-boned by a large SUV. As you can see from the picture, her car is completely wrecked.

Paige is lucky to be alive. Her head hit the windshield, and she was told, "You are lucky you were wearing a beanie." She was rushed to Regions and received a lot of stitches on her face and scalp, has bruising all over her body, strained ligaments, and a concussion. Nothing was broken. She will be okay but has a long road ahead of her while she recovers. Her doctors told her she is not allowed to work or drive until cleared; we still do not know when that will be.

This accident has come with a lot of new expenses on top of regular bills. I am hoping this GoFundMe can be a cushion for her to pay rent, medical bills, buy groceries, and to raise money for a down payment on a new car. Unfortunately, insurance has been less than helpful because Paige was the one who spun out due to bad road conditions.
