Paige is a devoted single mother who has always worked tirelessly—often juggling two jobs—to provide for her three children. Her strength and determination have been an inspiration to everyone who knows her.

Paige recently had a sudden medical emergency—a stroke caused by a patent foramen ovale (PFO), a small opening in the heart that usually closes after birth. Normally harmless in most adults, in her case it allowed a clot to pass through and reach her brain, causing a cardioembolic stroke. Extensive evaluation confirmed her stroke was cryptogenic—meaning no obvious cause—except for her PFO. Thankfully, PFO closure procedures are now a proven, effective treatment to dramatically reduce the risk of recurrence, especially in younger patients with embolic-appearing cryptogenic stroke.

Unfortunately, due to her recent incident, Paige is unable to work. This unexpected setback has not only impacted her health but has also placed a heavy financial burden on her family. With mounting medical expenses and everyday bills, she needs our support now more than ever.
