In August 2025, I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, just a few years after being in remission from my first battle in 2020. The news came shortly after welcoming our baby, Joshua, and it has been a challenging time for our family. Alongside my husband, our two boys, Joshua and Caleb, and my daughter who is with us part-time, we are navigating this journey with faith and determination. We are working with a detox specialist, an integrative doctor, and a conventional oncologist to follow the protocols that best fit my needs. My current focus is on holistic treatments, including dietary changes, supplements, and infusions, a conventional chemotherapy.

On October 27th, 2025 I was working at a coffee shop and suddenly lost functioning of my left arm before having a seizure in the bathroom. By the grace of God, barista called 911 and I was transferred by ambulance to USC Arcadia Hospital who confirmed with an MRI, I had a brain tumor. This was surgically removed about a week later and we are currently working with practitioners to start treatment for the metastatic breast cancer, cancerous fluid around my lungs, and Glioblastoma (brain cancer). Even in this, we know the Lord is working on our behalf.

The financial strain has been significant. Many of the treatments and supplements are not covered by insurance, and we have already spent a little over $2,000 out-of-pocket. We have had to dip into our savings to cover appointments, blood tests, and necessary procedures, all while ensuring our children are cared for and provided for. Preparing healthy meals and juices takes extra time and resources, and we often rely on my mother-in-law, who travels nearly two hours to help with childcare during my appointments.

We are looking into the Greek Test. The Greek Test, RGCC (Research and Genomics Cancer Center) Test, is a molecular diagnostic test used to detect and monitor cancer. This test will also allow researchers to take a sample of the cancer I have and provide personalized recommendations on conventional drugs and/or natural treatments that work for my specific type. This test ranges from $3,000-$5,000, but we believe it will be worthwhile to know exactly which treatment to apply.

Despite these challenges, we remain positive and grounded in our faith, believing that with the Lord’s help, we will overcome this trial.
