I am starting this GoFundMe to help my family. My sister, Paige Sherman, is 13 years old and is currently in the Minneapolis Masonic Children’s Hospital ICU.

Paige was hospitalized last week on 11/10/24 when she began with a cough and fever. They found out she has pneumonia. They hoped it would be a quick stay, but Paige has now been here 7 days to get oxygen and help her breathe with different treatments. They are still not sure when she will be able to go home due to continued struggle with breathing! Doctors have her heavily sedated, on nutrition tubes, and a ventilator. They are projecting her to be here weeks to potentially months.

Having a family member in the hospital for a prolonged time is obviously very stressful, and on top of that, it’s very expensive. We wanted to start this GoFundMe to help our family supplement while taking unpaid time away from work, lodging, food, and for medical bills as they arise.

Paige attends Delphos Jefferson Middle School, plays on the soccer team, and is part of the musical. We hope to get her back to those things and home to Ohio as soon as we can. Any help anyone can provide is helpful! Please share this post so more folks can know and donate.
