As many of you, my dear friends and family know, I have undergone a profound transformation, struggling with depression, anxiety, and intense addiction.

 

 

Nearly six years ago, my mother and family supported me in healing with plant medicine, which helped me finally get to the root of my addictions and revealed a profound recognition of what spiritual life is. And more than that, I began to perceive a very intimate intuition of what God is.

 

I felt directed to the yogic path through a series of synchronicities that led me to Mexico, the Hridaya school, and my teacher Sahajananda.

 

 

Here, I have continued to teach and serve other students and the community, following a deep longing to move closer and closer to my true essence and the reality of this existence to understand who I am.

I want for very little. I make enough money to pay my basic living expenses and remain here, developing as a teacher and serving the community and all who come here.

 

Once a year, Hridaya offers a rare opportunity for a small group to go into silence for 49 days, under the guidance of Sahajananda. I've longed for this experience since I first arrived here five years ago. To sit in silence and solitude and deepen my spiritual practice of meditation, contemplation, and prayer.

 

I reach out to you all, hoping that those who feel called will help support this deep calling of mine.

All of your donations will go to Hridaya, a non-profit,  supporting 13 of us in silence and providing food and shelter in the Oaxacan mountains.
