Support Paige Murphy's Fight Against Brain Cancer

My name is Frances Ramsey and I am raising money to cover medical costs for my beautiful 4-year old (soon to be 5) niece Paige Murphy who was recently diagnosed with metastatic medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor. If you're visiting this page, you're probably already familiar with Paige's story through her Caring Bridge. If not, I'll be happy to tell you all about this amazing little girl.

Paige, daughter of Tom and Lorne Murphy, sibling to Matthew (6) and Emme (1), is an active, playful little girl who loves all things Paw Patrol and Bluey. Paige loves gymnastics, swimming, dancing and cheering her big brother Matthew's hockey team to victory.

In March 2024, Paige was diagnosed with a brain tumor. As you can imagine, this came as a total shock to her parents, family and friends. So, in mid-March, instead of preparing for their planned spring break trip, the Murphy family was getting ready for Paige's major brain surgery to remove her tumor at Children's Minnesota hospital.

Following the surgery was a long ICU stay filled with both progress and setbacks. Paige remained resilient throughout and finally returned home after about a month to start the next phase of her cancer treatment journey.

Since further testing showed cancer had spread to Paige's spine, the first stage of her treatment would involve simultaneous proton beam radiation therapy along with chemotherapy infusions at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. After a short break, Paige will then continue chemotherapy in Minneapolis.

Paige has so many people who care about her. Lorne and Tom, along with Paige's extended family, are so thankful for all of the people who have been praying for her, sending messages of love, sending comfort items and items to keep her busy in the hospital and during her treatment. Many of these people have also asked about a Go Fund Me for Paige.

Since a cancer diagnosis comes with a lot of unknowns and there are a lot of non-anticipated costs associated with this journey, Paige's family and friends have decided to start a Go Fund Me to help the Murphy family with these medical related expenses.

Lorne and Tom want to let everyone know that any donations that go beyond what is needed to cover medical expenses will be donated to a children's cancer related charity.
