Help mother of two and family fire takes eveything

Donation protected

This is written to help Paige Holz and her children, Josie and Jace. Our life was turned upside down on a Thursday that began like any other. In a tragic turn of events, our home—a sanctuary filled with cherished memories of my late mother, grandmother, and sister—was engulfed by a devastating fire. This home was not just a structure; it was a living memory of my loved ones, with their ashes resting under a special tree in our backyard.

In the blink of an eye, everything was lost.
The Fire: A Sudden, Unstoppable Force
I woke up and started my daily cleaning. I went downstairs to use the bathroom and suddenly heard my boyfriend Andrew screaming my name in panic. As he yelled, I rushed out of the bathroom and down to the end of the hallway as he shouted, "There's a fire!" He had seen smoke outside the window from the backyard while playing with the dog. He thought he would see a small fire, maybe a garbage can or something starting to burn. As he pushed the door open, the room flashed over, and the heat hit his skin.
By the time we realized what was happening, it was too late. The flames spread rapidly, and despite our desperate attempts to salvage our belongings, the fire consumed everything. Josie, my little girl, couldn't stop asking for her picture with Grandma Krissy—a treasure now lost forever along with all our possessions, including my children's beloved books and keepsakes stored in the attic. The fire took all the children's bedrooms and most of the downstairs, which is now waterlogged and smoke-damaged.

A Series of Unfortunate Events
To add to our troubles, our vehicle has been broken down for the past month, making it even harder to manage daily needs as a single mom. Without homeowners insurance, the financial burden of this tragedy is overwhelming. The holidays, which we had started preparing for early knowing how difficult they would be, now loom even heavier with the loss of our home and belongings.

Please help! If we all come together—friends, family, and community—we can help this family in their time of need.
We are reaching out to you, our community, for assistance. We have truly nowhere to go, and we lost everything except the clothes on our backs and the shoes we were wearing. Our immediate need is for temporary housing and basic necessities—clothing, food, and funds to cover day-to-day expenses. Any donations will go directly to helping us rebuild our lives and provide some stability for my children and Richard during this incredibly tough time.
