Moose was a very special cat and the sweetest boy. He had a copper processing disorder that was well treated. His sudden decline was very unexpected, especially as his liver/kidney levels were normalizing.

What Happened:

He refused his food, ate some wet food, and got sick at 3 a.m. at the house on Monday, 9/29. He was incredibly lethargic and taken to the emergency vet where they declared he had heart failure. After his ECG, he had a seizure.

His mom, Paige, had to make the hardest decision a pet parent can make. We let him cross the rainbow bridge around noon on 9/29. These funds will cover the $2,500 appointment from 9/28-9/29 as well as his previous treatments that Paige had to place on a credit card.

The Ask

Moose had a previous exploratory surgery that removed his gallbladder and discovered his liver & kidney disease. Paige had to pay over $5,000 for the surgery and additional costs for his special, low-copper food.

We love Moose and are devastated by his loss. Any help during this hard time is appreciated.
