Hello!

I'm Page, I'm 40 years old, I'm trans, and my life took quite a turn recently.

In late January, while at roller derby practice, I took a pretty bad fall that left me with a fractured distal tibia and fibula, aka a broken ankle in 3 places on my right leg.

This injury required 2 surgeries, and several screws and plates that were placed into my right ankle.

As you might well have imagined, this has affected my life in some pretty massive ways for the next few months. I am unable to work my part-time job at a local theater, which is a vital second source of income that I need. I can no longer drive myself places, I'll be stuck at home for the most part, and I will eventually need a long period of time for physical therapy.

Per my doctor, I have to keep off my leg for the next few months. This has really put a wrench in my everyday life. In addition to the medical bills I need to pay off, I have monthly expenses such as rent, utilities, and other costs.

While I thankfully do have insurance to cover the bulk of the medical bills, I will still need help paying off what I do owe and ensuring my bills are paid while I'm unable to work my part-time job.

For the breakdown of what I need,

$800 will go towards the medical bills that are not covered by insurance

$900 will cover the lost income I'd usually receive from my part-time job.

$500 for incidentals.
